Accounts Payable Supervisor
General Shale is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to work in a high volume, fast-paced accounting environment. This position is responsible for invoice processing, workflow & staff supervision, meeting established deadlines while complying with government regulations and internal policies. Other duties include: coordination internally and externally of vendor set up, validating vendor payments via multiple methods, providing assistance to vendor and sites in problem invoice resolution leading to timely payment, direct responsibility for 1099 filing process, involvement in system development and implementation of new processes, as well as the performance of other duties as assigned to include employee & site staff training.
Candidates must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills and computer proficiency, particularly in EXCEL and occasionally in WORD. SAP, 5+ years of A/P experience, and Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business or related curriculum preferred.

General Shale is seeking a Credit Manager to work at our corporate headquarters in Johnson City, TN. Responsibilities will include: collection of company's accounts receivables, supervision of Credit Analysts, approval of credit applications, setting credit limits on customer accounts, monthly reporting, overseeing company credit policies, and assisting with Treasury functions.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related curriculum, 5-10 years collections/credit experience a must, excellent interpersonal and P.C. skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Proficiency with SAP and customer service experience highly desirable.
